EVANSVILLE, Ind. — A stellar performance from Tarence Guinyard was pivotal in the victory of UT Martin, as they triumphed over Southern Indiana with a score of 77-46 on Saturday evening.

Guinyard not only led the scoring with an impressive 28 points but also contributed significantly on the boards with nine rebounds for the Skyhawks, who now hold a record of 5-8 overall and 1-1 in the Ohio Valley Conference. Josue Grullon made a notable impact as well, putting up 20 points along with six rebounds. Vladimer Salaridze added to the team’s performance, finishing the game with eight points after connecting on two of his four shots, including two of three from three-point range, while also contributing seven rebounds and five assists.

For the Screaming Eagles of Southern Indiana, who now have a 6-6 record, Jayland Randall was the standout player, scoring 12 points and securing three steals.
