MONROE, La. — In an exciting matchup on Saturday, Robert Davis Jr. showcased an impressive performance with 32 points, leading Old Dominion to an 80-75 victory over UL Monroe in overtime.
Davis’s shooting was remarkable, as he converted 8 out of 17 attempts from the field, including a remarkable 7-for-14 from beyond the arc. He also made 9 out of 12 attempts from the free-throw line. His teammates contributed as well, with Sean Durugordon adding 15 points—shooting 4 of 11 from the field and making all six of his free throws—while also grabbing five rebounds. R.J.
