Barnstable tallies 23 points as St. Thomas defeats Bowling Green 93-68

Miles Barnstable delivered an impressive performance, scoring 23 points as St. Thomas triumphed over Bowling Green with a score of 93-68 on Saturday.
Barnstable achieved a shooting record of 6 for 12 from the field, including 3 for 8 from beyond the arc, and sealed 8 out of 9 free throws, contributing significantly to the Tommies’ season record of 10-4.
Fellow teammate Drake Dobbs followed closely with 18 points, shooting 6 of 10 overall and hitting 5 for 6 from the free-throw line while also dishing out five assists.
Kendall Blue added 16 points to the tally with 5 for 11 shooting, including 2 for 6 from three-point range, and a perfect 4 for 4 from the charity stripe.
With this victory, the Tommies claimed their sixth consecutive win.

Javontae Campbell stood out for the Falcons, who fell to 4-7, finishing the game with 18 points, alongside six rebounds and four steals.
His teammates Marcus Johnson and Derrick Butler contributed 16 and 15 points, respectively, in the effort against St. Thomas.
St. Thomas established an early lead just 18 seconds into the game, which they maintained throughout.
Carter Bjerke was instrumental in the first half scoring 12 points, propelling the Tommies to a commanding 46-20 lead at halftime.
In the second half, the team ramped up their advantage with a 10-0 run, pushing their lead from 20 to 30 points.
Although they were narrowly outscored by Bowling Green in the second half, Barnstable’s contribution of 14 points after the break ensured St. Thomas’s victory.

Looking ahead, St. Thomas is set to face UC Riverside on Sunday in an away game, while Bowling Green will be playing against Aquinas (MI) at home on Monday.
