CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — In a commanding performance, Garry Clark led the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders to a resounding 117-63 victory against Southwestern Adventist on Wednesday evening.
Clark finished the game with an impressive 19 points and contributed significantly on the boards with seven rebounds, helping his team to improve their season record to 7-5.
Jordan Roberts also made a notable impact, scoring 18 points with an efficient shooting performance. He hit 7 of his 12 attempts, including 4 out of 8 from three-point range, while also dishing out five assists.
Stephen Faramade rounded out the team’s strong offensive showing by shooting 7 of 9 from the floor, finishing with 16 points by the end of the match.
On the other side, Southwestern Adventist was led by Orlando Gooden, who contributed a solid 20 points. Teammate Byron Fields had an impressive outing as well, scoring 16 points along with two steals and two blocks, showcasing his defensive prowess.
Domonique Wilkins added depth to the Knights’ efforts, scoring 13 points and also recording two blocks.
