CORVALLIS, Ore. — In an impressive display of skill, Michael Rataj delivered a standout performance by scoring 23 points and securing 12 rebounds, leading Oregon State to a dominating 82-45 victory over Sacramento State on Tuesday night.
Contributing further to the Beavers’ success, Liutauras Lelevicius put up 12 points along with five rebounds. Nate Kingz also made his mark on the game, shooting 4 for 9, with two of those attempts from three-point range, ultimately racking up 10 points for his team.
For Sacramento State, Jacob Holt emerged as the top scorer with nine points. Bailey Nunn and Emil Skytta contributed eight and seven points respectively, with Skytta also recording two steals during the game.
Oregon State established a comfortable 30-20 lead at halftime and continued to dominate in the second half, outscoring the Hornets 52-25. A significant moment in the game included a 17-1 run fueled by Rataj, who scored 11 points during that surge and added a total of 17 points in the second half alone.
