HUNTSVILLE, Texas — Sam Houston University secured a decisive victory with an 80-54 triumph over Saint Thomas (Texas) on Monday evening, highlighted by an impressive performance from Lamar Wilkerson.
Wilkerson scored a total of 19 points, while also contributing six rebounds and three steals to his team’s success, improving the Bearkats’ record to 6-5 on the season.

Kian Scroggins played a significant role in the victory, netting 13 points and grabbing an outstanding 17 rebounds. Cameron Huefner also had a solid game, shooting 4 of 10 from the field, including 3 of 8 from three-point range, to add another 13 points to the scoreboard.

On the opposing side, Gavin Davis emerged as the leader for the Celts, recording 16 points, seven rebounds, and two steals. Danny Canul chipped in with 10 points, while Dylan Jackson contributed seven points alongside six rebounds.
