FULLERTON, Calif. — In an impressive performance, Donovan Oday led Cal State Fullerton to a 74-59 triumph over Denver on Sunday evening, scoring a total of 21 points.
Oday not only showcased his scoring ability but also contributed with eight rebounds, helping the Titans improve their record to 4-8 for the season. Teammate Kobe Young supported the effort by hitting 5 of 8 shots from the floor and converting 3 of 4 from the charity stripe, finishing the game with 13 points. John Square Jr. was also a key player, netting 11 points while shooting 2 of 4 from the field and a remarkable 7 of 9 from the foul line.
On the other side, DeAndre Craig led the scoring for the Pioneers with 17 points. Nicholas Shogbonyo contributed significantly, putting in 15 points while also grabbing six rebounds. Sebastian Akins added eight points to Denver’s total in this contest, but it wasn’t enough to secure the victory.
