FORT WORTH, Texas — Hailey Van Lith led the TCU Horned Frogs to an impressive victory over Louisiana Tech, scoring 23 points in a dominant 92-41 matchup on Sunday.

Van Lith was remarkably efficient from the field, hitting 7 of 10 attempts, which included three shots from beyond the arc. She also put in a flawless performance at the free-throw line, making all six of her attempts. With this win, TCU improved its record to 10-1 for the season and continued its unbeaten streak at home, now at 8-0.

Madison Conner contributed significantly to the team’s success, sinking four 3-pointers and finishing with 18 points. Sedona Prince followed with 12 points and collected seven rebounds. Additionally, Agnes Emma-Nnopu made her presence felt with 10 rebounds, five assists, and seven points.

Conversely, Paris Bradley was the standout performer for the Lady Techsters, leading her team with 15 points. Jianna Morris added to the tally with 11 points, hitting three shots from downtown. However, the Lady Techsters struggled on the road, now holding a 1-3 record away from home this season, dropping their overall record to 5-4.
The first quarter saw TCU take control early with a 19-5 lead, aided by Conner’s five points off the bench. Louisiana Tech struggled from the start, managing just 1 of 4 from the perimeter and 1 of 8 from inside, leaving them trailing significantly.
The second quarter further solidified TCU’s dominance as Van Lith added two more 3-pointers and finished with 10 points in that period alone. Prince contributed another eight points, guiding TCU to a commanding 46-16 advantage by halftime.

The Horned Frogs recorded a solid shooting percentage of 54%, hitting 35 of their 65 attempts. They were also effective from three-point land, connecting on 12 of their 31 shots (39%), and maintained a strong free-throw percentage with 10 made from 12 attempts.
In contrast, Louisiana Tech struggled offensively, converting only 14 of their 50 total shots, including 4 of 16 from three-point range. They made 9 of their 13 free-throw attempts.
This game followed TCU’s previous encounter where they suffered their first loss of the season against No. 3 South Carolina, with a score of 85-52.

Looking ahead, TCU is set to face Samford on Tuesday, while Louisiana Tech will return home to take on Central Baptist on Thursday.
