KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Kangaroos triumphed over the Bowling Green Falcons with a score of 85-77 on Saturday night, thanks in large part to Jamar Brown’s impressive performance of 18 points.
Brown shot 50% from the field, making 6 of his 12 attempts, and excelled in three-point shooting, hitting 4 of 7. His teammates also made significant contributions, with Cameron Faas netting 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting, which included 4-of-7 from beyond the arc. Babacar Diallo added 14 points, having a strong game with 4-of-7 shooting from the floor and a solid performance at the free-throw line, hitting 6 of 7 attempts.
On the opposing side, the Falcons saw a standout performance from Javontae Campbell, who led his team with 27 points and made five steals. Marcus Johnson supported the effort with 22 points, while Derrick Butler chipped in with 11 points to round out the scoring for Bowling Green.
Kansas City held a narrow lead at halftime, 46-45, with Faas being the top scorer for the Kangaroos at that point with 13 points. In the second half, Diallo stepped up to lead the team with 12 points, helping secure the victory as Kansas City improved to a record of 6-7.
