WASHINGTON — In a commanding performance, Trey Moss scored 19 points to lead George Washington to a 75-60 victory over Army on Friday evening.

Moss also contributed five assists for the Revolutionaries, who improved to a strong 9-2 this season. Rafael Castro played a pivotal role as well, netting 12 points on an impressive 6 of 7 shooting from the field and collecting 12 rebounds. Meanwhile, Darren Buchanan Jr. rounded out the scoring with 12 points, hitting 5 of 6 at the charity stripe and managing a 3 of 10 shooting performance overall, including a single 3-pointer.

On the opposing side, Josh Scovens was the standout for the Black Knights, recording 20 points, six rebounds, and three steals. AJ Allenspach and Jalen Rucker also made significant contributions, with Allenspach scoring 14 points and securing 13 rebounds, while Rucker added 13 points, six rebounds, and two steals.

The game had George Washington leading at halftime, 35-29, with Moss leading his team in scoring with 13 points by that point. The turning point came 13 minutes into the second half, when George Washington took the lead and maintained it through to the end. Buchanan was instrumental in the second-half surge, contributing nine points that helped pave the way for their convincing win.
