RUSTON, La. — In an exciting matchup on Friday night, Louisiana Tech secured a 77-63 victory against Georgia Southern, thanks in large part to Kaden Cooper’s standout performance, where he netted 25 points.

Cooper contributed further to the game with eight rebounds and three steals, showcasing his all-around skills for the Bulldogs, who improved their record to 9-2. Daniel Batcho also made a significant impact, scoring 22 points while demonstrating impressive efficiency with a shooting tally of 9 out of 10 from the floor and 4 out of 5 from the charity stripe. Batcho didn’t just score; he added eight rebounds and three blocks to his stat line as well. AJ Bates complemented the offense with 10 points, hitting 4 of 7 shots, including a pair of three-pointers out of four attempts.

On the other side, Georgia Southern, now at 6-5, found their offensive leader in Bradley Douglas, who recorded 20 points, six rebounds, and four assists. Nakavieon White also made his presence felt on the court with a solid performance, contributing 15 points and grabbing seven rebounds, while Eren Banks added 10 points to the total.

Louisiana Tech started the game a bit slow, finding themselves trailing 35-33 at halftime after Batcho scored 14 of his points in that period. However, the tide turned in the second half, with Cooper stepping up to score 17 points thereafter, which propelled Louisiana Tech to a decisive 14-point victory, securing their ninth win of the season.
