LOUISVILLE, Ky. — In an impressive display of talent, Landin Hacker secured a victory for Bellarmine by scoring 21 points in their dominant win over the NAIA’s Brescia, with a final score of 94-66 on Saturday.
Hacker demonstrated exceptional shooting precision, hitting 7 of 11 attempts from beyond the arc, which contributed significantly to the Knights’ performance, bringing their record to 3-7. Alongside him, Ben Johnson made a notable impact with 17 points, completing 6 of 13 shots, including 5 out of 12 from three-point territory, while also contributing six assists. Dylan Branson added to the scoreboard with 12 points after making 5 of 7 shots from the floor and converting 2 out of 3 free throws, in addition to playing a pivotal role on the boards with 10 rebounds.
For Brescia, Damian Garcia emerged as the standout performer, leading his team with 27 points. Gonzalo Luque supported with a solid performance of nine points, coupled with eight rebounds and five assists. John Seanz also contributed with eight points and two steals, but it was not enough to secure a win.
