NASHVILLE, Tenn. — In a decisive matchup on Sunday evening, UNC Asheville triumphed over Tennessee State with a score of 92-74, thanks in large part to Jordan Marsh’s impressive performance of 23 points.
Marsh contributed not only in scoring but also collected five rebounds and dished out five assists, playing a vital role in the Bulldogs’ (3-3) success.
Other notable contributions came from Toyaz Solomon, who tallied 18 points after hitting 8 of 14 field goal attempts and converting 2 of 3 free throws.
Josh Banks also made a significant impact, scoring 17 points with an efficient shooting display of 5 for 7 from the field, including 3 for 4 from beyond the arc, along with a perfect 4 for 4 from the free-throw line.

On the opposing side, Tennessee State struggled despite some strong performances, particularly from Antoine Lorick III, who recorded a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds, complemented by two steals.
Carlous Williams added 15 points and pulled down six rebounds, contributing to the Tigers’ (3-6) efforts.
Ahmir Langlais also made his mark on the scoreboard, finishing with 12 points and gathering six rebounds, but it wasn’t enough to overcome UNC Asheville’s powerful offensive display.
