La Salle secures victory over Temple with a score of 83-75

    PHILADELPHIA — In a thrilling matchup on Saturday evening, Corey McKeithan was a standout performer, netting 28 points to lead La Salle to an 83-75 victory over Temple.

    McKeithan displayed an impressive shooting performance, hitting 10 of 19 attempts from the field and sinking 3 of 6 from beyond the arc, while also converting all five of his free throw attempts. The Explorers improved their season record to 6-2, with Demetrius Lilley contributing significantly by scoring 13 points on 5 of 12 shooting, including 2 for 4 from three-point land, alongside six rebounds. Jahlil White also made his mark, finishing the game with 11 points, going 5 for 5 from the charity stripe, though he struggled slightly from the field with a 3 of 13 shooting performance, while he secured an impressive 12 rebounds.

    On the other side of the court, Quante Berry led the charge for the Owls, racking up a double-double with 18 points and 15 rebounds, in addition to registering two blocks. Temple’s efforts were bolstered by Jamal Mashburn Jr., who added 15 points, while William Settle made a solid contribution with 13 points and seven rebounds.
