In West Haven, Utah, a tragic incident occurred where a woman and her three children were found shot to death inside a car. Although authorities have stated that there is no current threat to the public, they have not disclosed details about what they believe transpired.
The discovery was made after a family member dialed 911 just before 10 p.m. on Tuesday, alerting officials to the grim finding of the deceased individuals in a vehicle parked at a residence situated in West Haven, a city located near Ogden and north of Salt Lake City. As per Weber County Sheriff’s Sgt. Sean Endsley speaking to KSL-TV, the victims included a 32-year-old woman, a 4-year-old boy, a 2-year-old girl, and a 1-year-old girl; however, their identities have not been released to the public.
This tragic event comes on the heels of another devastating incident that took place a day prior in Lehi, located south of Salt Lake City, where an 8-year-old boy accidentally shot himself after gaining access to a loaded firearm left unattended in a car while his mother was inside a convenience store.
