Lakers fans celebrate the blockbuster deal which brought Luka Doncic to LA and traded Anthony Davis to Dallas. Social Media is going crazy on the new Slovenian hero in Hollywood.
The famous basketball columnist of the local LA Times – Bill Plaschke – celebrated the deal as “the boldest move in franchise history” and: “The Lakers rediscovered their future and the hearts of their fans.” Plaschke wrote to the Manager of the Lakers: “Rob Pelinka, I could kiss you!”
And he concluded: “A team clogged with mediocrity just found hope again. Great trade. Tremendous tred. Championship trade!!!” And: “The Lakers dealt their murky present for an awe-inspiring future!”
Plaschke – and with him many Lakers fans – bet: The Lakers are not done – the next step will be the trade of LeBron James, maybe already in the next days.
After getting Doncic the Lakers need now defensive power and a huge center player. They can get the best of all centers if they trade LeBron.
Plaschke writes: “The trading of Anthony Davis was a big step for the future of the Lakers. But it is probably just the first step in what could be the complete reimagining of Lakers greatness. Get rid of LeBron James!”
The Lakers would have to start their future without the many problems of LeBron – and send him in a trade to the Golden State Warriors.
Plaschke writes: “LeBron James, you are on the clock!!!”
Will the Lakers really trade LeBron in the next days. On sign: LeBron was not involved, not even informed in and of the Doncic deal – the first time the mighty Laker legend was left in the dark.
Le Bron lost his beloved Partner Davis without being asked or being informed – he got the news out of the internet while he was at a dinner with his family.
Will the Lakers really trad James? Many bet against it: LeBron is in incredible shape right now, just had a triple double in the last game, scores more than 30 points one game after another.
One Laker fan yesterday on the radio: “With LeBron and Doncic together the Lakers are able to win the championship this year – please keep him!”
