Natalie Harp has become an indispensable figure in Donald Trump’s inner circle, earning both admiration and controversy for her unwavering loyalty.
Dubbed the “Human Printer” for her role in delivering news clips to the former president, Harp has made herself so essential that insiders claim she is practically “unfireable.”
Harp’s Rise in Trump’s Inner Circle
Harp first gained attention as a speaker at the 2020 Republican National Convention, where she credited Trump’s “Right to Try” law with saving her life as a bone cancer survivor. She later transitioned from right-wing media into Trump’s campaign team in 2022, where she quickly became a trusted aide. Her job? Ensuring Trump had immediate access to flattering news coverage, whether in print or digital form.
Over time, Harp’s influence grew, and her devotion to Trump became legendary within his circle. Axios reporter Alex Isenstadt, in his upcoming book Revenge: The Inside Story of Trump’s Return to Power, details how Harp’s obsessive dedication earned her an unflattering new nickname—“Fatal Attraction”—a reference to Glenn Close’s character in the 1987 thriller.
Crossing Boundaries at Mar-a-Lago
Harp’s unwavering commitment to Trump sometimes led her to push boundaries. According to Revenge, she was once discovered by Melania Trump inside the former president’s private quarters at Mar-a-Lago late at night—an area strictly reserved for family. She had documents for Trump and refused to wait until morning to deliver them.
At another point, Harp was seen chasing after Trump on foot at his golf course in Scotland after being denied her own golf cart. Back at his West Palm Beach club, she was finally given one—with a wireless printer installed—so she could continue feeding Trump news in real time.
The ‘Ghost Flight’ Incident
Harp’s deep attachment to Trump reportedly led to an emotional breakdown when she was separated from him during a security diversion. In the fall of 2024, after assassination threats from Iran, Trump was quietly moved to real estate mogul Steve Witkoff’s private plane. His staff, including Harp, were instead placed on Trump Force One, believing he was aboard.
“When she realized Trump wasn’t on the plane, she took it the hardest,” Isenstadt writes. “She texted Trump to complain that she was more important than the other staff members and should have been with him.”
A Presence That Can’t Be Ignored
Despite frustrations from senior officials, Harp has remained a core figure in Trump’s orbit. She has reportedly written him multiple letters of devotion and serves as his go-to aide for everything from posting on Truth Social to texting Republican lawmakers.
A White House statement to DailyMail.com reinforced her standing. Communications Director Steven Cheung called her “a trusted and valued member of President Trump’s team” and credited her with playing a key role in his successful campaign.
For now, it seems Harp’s position in Trump’s world is as secure as ever—whether his advisers like it or not.
