HARRISONBURG, Va. — In a commanding performance on Thursday evening, James Madison triumphed over Georgia State with a decisive score of 83-63. Bryce Lindsay was the standout player of the game, contributing 23 points to help secure the victory for the Dukes.
Lindsay’s shooting was notable, as he connected on 7 of his 16 attempts from the floor, which included a commendable 5 of 12 from beyond the arc. Additionally, he was perfect at the free-throw line, sinking all four of his attempts. Alongside him, Elijah Hutchins-Everett made a strong impact, contributing 16 points by shooting 5 of 7 from the field and 6 of 7 from the free-throw line. Both Mark Freeman and Xavier Brown also made their mark on the scoreboard, each adding 11 points to the Dukes’ winning tally.
On the opposing side, the Panthers put forth a solid effort, led by Cesare Edwards, who scored 14 points while also grabbing seven rebounds.
