    RICHMOND, Ky. — On Saturday night, Eastern Kentucky secured an impressive 86-80 overtime victory against Queens, largely thanks to the stellar performance of Devontae Blanton, who scored 23 points.

    In addition to his scoring prowess, Blanton made significant contributions with 10 assists for the Colonels, who improved their record to 16-11 overall and 10-4 in the Atlantic Sun Conference. Mayar Wol was another key player for Eastern Kentucky, netting 20 points on 7 of 17 shooting, including a solid 5 for 10 from beyond the arc, along with five rebounds. Jordan Crawford also made his mark, hitting 4 of 6 shots from the field, with 2 of those from three-point range, to finish with 12 points. This win marks the seventh consecutive triumph for the Colonels, showcasing their growing momentum as the season progresses.

    For the Royals, Leo Colimerio emerged as the standout performer, recording 20 points, nine rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Jaxon Pollard contributed significantly as well, tallying 16 points, along with 11 rebounds and two steals, demonstrating a well-rounded performance. Chris Ashby rounded out the offensive effort for Queens with 12 points.
