Robinson nets 26 points as Delaware State defeats Howard 90-69

    DOVER, Del. — In an impressive showing on Saturday night, Martaz Robinson led Delaware State to a commanding 90-69 victory over Howard, contributing 26 points to the team’s win.

    Robinson also secured nine rebounds for the Hornets, who currently boast a record of 13 wins and 10 losses, with a 5-3 standing in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. His strong performance was complemented by Robert Smith, who scored 23 points, shooting 9 of 19 from the field, including an impressive 4 of 6 from beyond the arc, while also recording three steals. Kaseem Watson further aided the team’s efforts by finishing with 15 points, converting 4 of 9 field goal attempts and making all six of his free throws.

    The Bison had their top scorer in Blake Harper, who managed to rack up 18 points. Cameron Shockley-Okeke contributed significantly with 17 points, while Marcus Dockery also had a solid performance with 12 points and four assists. The game showcased Delaware State’s offensive strength, as they took control against Howard.
