In a decisive matchup on Saturday night in DeLand, Florida, Eastern Kentucky controlled the game against Stetson, securing an impressive 83-58 victory. Devontae Blanton and Jackson Holt were standout performers for the Colonels, each scoring 22 points to lead their team to victory.
Blanton had a strong all-around performance, adding five rebounds and distributing seven assists. Holt also showcased his shooting ability, hitting 7 of 14 attempts from the field, including an impressive 7 of 12 from beyond the arc. Teammate Turner Buttry contributed 10 points, going 2 of 6 from the floor but maintained perfect accuracy from the free-throw line, making all five of his attempts, while struggling a bit from three-point range with only 1 made out of 5 attempts.
