On Thursday night in Philadelphia, Jason Drake’s impressive performance, scoring 25 points, propelled Drexel to a commanding 86-66 victory over William & Mary.
Drake also made a substantial contribution with nine assists, further facilitating his team’s success. The Dragons, now holding a record of 13-11 and 5-6 in the Coastal Athletic Association, showcased a strong offensive game. Yame Butler added to the score with 18 points, making 7 of 12 shots from the field and hitting 2 of 4 from beyond the arc, along with 2 successful free throws. Additionally, Villiam Garcia Adsten contributed 13 points, shooting 5 for 7 from the field and converting 2 of 5 free-throw attempts.

For the Tribe, who now stand at 14-10 with an 8-3 record, Gabe Dorsey was the standout player, netting 17 points. His teammates Kyle Pulliam and Chase Lowe contributed to the total as well, with Pulliam scoring 15 points along with two steals, while Lowe added 11 points, seven rebounds, and four assists to his efforts.

Drexel took control of the game with 9:24 left in the first half and maintained their lead throughout. The halftime score was 37-30, with Kobe Magee also making his mark by scoring eight points. The second half saw Drake ramp up his scoring, contributing 19 points and helping his team to an impressive 13-point lead over William & Mary during that period.
