LONDON — Tottenham Hotspur defender Radu Dragusin has suffered damage to the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, necessitating surgery.
The 23-year-old athlete sustained the injury during a Europa League match against Elfsborg last week.
While the club has not provided a timeline for his recovery, it is well-known that rehabilitation from ACL injuries can take nearly a year.
“Radu will be evaluated by our medical team to establish a timeline for his return to training,” stated the club in an official announcement.
In addition to Dragusin’s injury, Tottenham is already grappling with several key players sidelined, including Cristian Romero and Dominic Solanke.
