NORMAN, Okla. — In an impressive performance, Georgia Amoore led No. 12 Kentucky to a 95-86 win against No. 13 Oklahoma, scoring a career-best 41 points while knocking down seven shots from beyond the arc.

Amoore showcased her shooting ability early, hitting two three-pointers and adding 10 points as the Wildcats surged to a 30-19 lead by the end of the first quarter. Overall, she converted 15 of 22 attempts from the field, including 7 of 12 from three-point range, and went 6 of 8 at the free-throw line. Additionally, she contributed eight assists to her team’s effort.

Kentucky also saw solid contributions from Clara Strack, who tallied 19 points and six rebounds before fouling out. The Wildcats, now boasting a record of 19-2 and standing at 8-1 in the Southeastern Conference, have extended their winning streak to three games. Dazia Lawrence also had a productive outing, hitting three of Kentucky’s 14 three-pointers and finishing with 14 points.

On the other side, the Sooners (16-6, 4-5) were led by sophomore Sahara Williams, who notched a career-high 27 points on 8-of-19 shooting. Raegan Beers contributed an impressive double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds, marking her ninth of the season. Payton Verhulst also made her presence felt with 11 points and 10 rebounds, recording her first double-double in this game. The freshman Zya Vann added 15 points off the bench, while her senior sister Skylar Vann added 11 points.

Oklahoma entered halftime trailing 45-36, but rallied to make a game of it. Skylar Vann sparked a 10-2 run with consecutive field goals to cut the deficit to just one point at the beginning of the third quarter. However, Kentucky quickly countered with a three-pointer from Amelia Hassett, followed by eight points from Strack and another three from Amoore, culminating in a 16-0 run that allowed the Wildcats to take control of the game.

Looking ahead, Oklahoma will take to the court on Thursday against Mississippi, while Kentucky has a break before facing the same opponent on February 10.
