In a strong showing on Saturday night, Tarleton State secured a 75-58 win against Southern Utah in Stephenville, Texas.
Bubu Benjamin was a key player for the Texans, scoring 18 points and grabbing six rebounds.
Teammate Izzy Miles made a significant impact as well, contributing 15 points on an impressive shooting performance, hitting 6 of 8 from the field and 3 of 4 from the free-throw line, along with three steals.
Keitenn Bristow also shone, finishing the game with 14 points after going 6 of 7 in field goal attempts.

On the other side, Southern Utah struggled despite a standout performance from Jamir Simpson, who led his team with 24 points.
Hercy Miller contributed to the scoreboard with 11 points and also made two steals, while JT Langston Jr. added seven points to the mix.
This victory improved Tarleton State’s record to 10-13 overall and 5-3 within the Western Athletic Conference, while the Thunderbirds fell to 9-13 and 1-7.
