PHILADELPHIA – In a thrilling Atlantic 10 matchup, La Salle powered past George Washington with a final score of 73-67, thanks in large part to stellar performances from Deuce Jones and Corey McKeithan, who both contributed 19 points each.

Jones showcased his versatility by also dishing out six assists, while Jahlil White chipped in with an impressive 12 points, shooting 5 of 8 from the field for the Explorers (12-10, 4-6 Atlantic 10 Conference).

On the opposing side, the Revolutionaries (15-7, 4-5) were led by Gerald Drumgoole Jr., who matched the scoring output of Jones and McKeithan with 19 points. Sean Hansen supported the team with 11 points, and Rafael Castro made his presence felt by adding 10 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks.

The contest was tightly contested, with both teams entering halftime even at 35-35. White’s impressive scoring performance in the first half set the stage for the Explorers. The second half saw Jones explode for 15 points, ultimately sealing the game and leading La Salle to a hard-fought six-point victory.
