LONDON — The highly anticipated boxing clash between Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr. is set to take place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on April 26.
Promoters Eddie Hearn and Turki Alalshikh made the announcement late Thursday, marking the matchup more than three decades after the legendary bouts between their fathers, Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank, who squared off in the ring in the 1990s.

Initially planned for the O2 Arena in London during October 2022, the fight was canceled when Benn tested positive in a voluntary doping test.
The undefeated Benn, aged 28, dedicated two years to exonerating himself, ultimately having his suspension lifted last November.
To compete against the 35-year-old Eubank Jr., Benn will need to move up from welterweight to the middleweight division.

The pairing of their fathers took place in 1990 and again in 1993, creating a storied rivalry that has lingered in British boxing history.
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has previously hosted major boxing events, including Anthony Joshua’s defeat to Oleksandr Usyk in September 2021 and Tyson Fury’s victory over Derek Chisora in December 2022.

Additionally, the undercard for April 26 is expected to feature an exciting trilogy contest pitting British light heavyweights Anthony Yarde against Lyndon Arthur.
Chris Billam-Smith will also step back into the ring for the first time since relinquishing his WBO cruiserweight title to Gilberto Ramirez last November, as he faces American fighter Brandon Glanton.
