SPARTANBURG, S.C. — In an exciting matchup on Wednesday night, Wofford secured a 79-68 victory over The Citadel, led by Jackson Sivills who scored an impressive 19 points.
Alongside his scoring, Sivills also grabbed five rebounds, playing a key role in the Terriers’ performance.
Kyler Filewich contributed significantly with 12 points and matched Sivills’ rebounding tally with five boards.
Justin Bailey added another 12 points to the scoreboard and had an efficient shooting night, going 5 for 7 overall and hitting 2 of 4 attempts from beyond the arc.
For The Citadel, Brody Fox was the standout performer, finishing with 18 points alongside two steals.
Cameron Glover and Paxton Davidson also made notable contributions, scoring 17 and 16 points respectively.
Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, this loss marked their 10th consecutive defeat, deepening their struggles this season.
Looking ahead, both teams will be back on the court this Saturday.
Wofford will travel to face Samford, while The Citadel is set to host Western Carolina at home.
