JONESBORO, Ark. — In an impressive performance, Arkansas State triumphed over Georgia State with a commanding score of 85-59 on Saturday.
Joseph Pinion was a standout player, contributing 14 points to the Red Wolves’ victory. He demonstrated his shooting prowess by connecting on 5 of 10 attempts from the field, including an impressive 4 of 9 from three-point range, showcasing his skills from beyond the arc.

Taryn Todd also made significant contributions to the team’s win, scoring 12 points while also grabbing six rebounds and dishing out five assists. Another key player for Arkansas State was Izaiyah Nelson, who added eight points and shot 50% from the floor, hitting 4 of his 8 attempts.

On the opposing side, Georgia State’s Nicholas McMullen led his team in scoring, finishing with 15 points and securing a double-double by also pulling down 12 rebounds.
