SMITHFIELD, R.I. — In a compelling matchup on Saturday evening, the Bryant Bulldogs triumphed over the Vermont Catamounts with a score of 73-53. Connor Withers was a standout performer for Bryant, contributing 19 points to the victory.

Withers demonstrated impressive shooting accuracy, hitting 8 of his 14 attempts from the field, including 3 of 9 from three-point territory. He was supported by Barry Evans, who scored 13 points, achieving 5 of 7 shooting, and also secured seven rebounds. Rafael Pinzon also made his mark, adding 13 points to the scoreboard with a shooting line of 5 for 17, which included 3 successful three-point attempts out of 8.

For the Catamounts, Shamir Bogues led his team with 17 points, alongside six rebounds and two blocks. Ileri Ayo-Faleye contributed 15 points to Vermont’s total, while Nick Fiorillo added six points in the game.
