OREM, Utah – Dominick Nelson contributed significantly to Utah Valley’s victory over Abilene Christian with a total of 16 points in their Western Athletic Conference opener held on Saturday.

Nelson also secured seven rebounds, showing his prowess on the court as the Wolverines improved to a record of 9-6. Kylin Green supported his team with 11 points and five rebounds, while Carter Welling made an impact with nine points, six rebounds, and three blocks.

On the opposing side, the Wildcats, now sitting at 8-8, had Bradyn Hubbard and Quion Williams each score 16 points. Hubbard further bolstered his performance with seven rebounds and two steals, contributing to the team’s effort.
