TAMPA, Fla. — In a commanding performance on Saturday night, Kobe Knox was instrumental in guiding South Florida to an impressive 88-62 win against Texas A&M-Commerce, contributing 19 points from the bench.
Knox showcased his shooting prowess, making 7 of 8 attempts from the field and hitting 5 of 6 from beyond the arc, leading the Bulls to improve their record to 6-6. Quincy Adekokoya supported the team’s efforts with 16 points on 7 for 13 shooting, which included a 2 for 7 performance from three-point territory. Both Jimmie Williams and Jayden Reid added 11 points each to the scoreboard.
For the Lions, who now stand at 2-11 overall and 0-2 in the Southland Conference, Tay Mosher emerged as the top scorer with 12 points. Scooter Williams Jr. contributed 11 points and recorded three steals, while Khaliq Abdul-Mateen rounded out the performance with 10 points, seven rebounds, and three steals.
