TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — Samage Teel delivered an impressive performance, scoring 26 points and leading Indiana State to an 84-74 victory against Murray State on Wednesday night.
Teel showcased his shooting skills, making 10 of 13 shots from the floor, which included hitting 4 out of 7 attempts from beyond the arc. He also contributed to the team’s success by going 2 for 3 from the free-throw line. The Sycamores improved their record to 7-4 overall and maintained an undefeated streak in the Missouri Valley Conference at 2-0. Jaden Daughtry also played a vital role, contributing 12 points along with seven rebounds, while Markus Harding added another 12 points, shooting 5 of 9 from the field, including 1 for 3 from three-point range.
For the Racers, Kylen Milton was the standout player, leading his team with 18 points and recording four steals. Jacobi Wood provided support with 15 points and four assists, and Terence Harcum chipped in with 13 points.
Indiana State established their dominance in the game by seizing the lead with just under 10 minutes remaining in the first half and managed to hold on to it for the remainder of the contest.
