Singleton guides Holy Cross past Quinnipiac with a 70-69 victory

HAMDEN, Conn. — In an exciting matchup on Tuesday night, Holy Cross emerged victorious against Quinnipiac with a narrow 70-69 win, highlighted by Kahlil Singleton’s impressive performance. Singleton contributed significantly to the Crusaders’ effort, netting 20 points, which included a crucial three-pointer with just 13 seconds on the clock.

Singleton showcased his shooting prowess, finishing the game with a remarkable 7-of-8 shooting from the floor, and an outstanding 6-of-7 from beyond the arc. Alongside him, Joe Nugent added 19 points, completing 6 of his 11 attempts, with 5 of those coming from three-point territory. Max Green contributed as well, scoring 12 points but had a challenging night overall with 4 of 15 shooting, including 2 of 9 from long range. He did, however, play a vital role in playmaking, dishing out seven assists.

For the Bobcats, both Savion Lewis and Paul Otieno led the scoring with 13 points each. Amarri Tice also made a solid contribution, adding 12 points along with nine rebounds as Quinnipiac fell to a 5-6 record for the season.
