FORT COLLINS, Colo. — In a thrilling matchup on Friday night, Barrington Hargress lit up the scoreboard with 31 points, including a crucial six during overtime, guiding UC Riverside to a narrow 77-75 victory over Colorado State.
Hargress showcased his all-around skills by also dishing out six assists for the Highlanders, who improved their record to 3-3. Alongside him, Nate Pickens made significant contributions, scoring 13 points and grabbing seven rebounds. Isaiah Moses added to the effort with 12 points, although he struggled somewhat with his shooting, hitting just 4 of 15 attempts, including 2 of 6 from three-point range.
On the other side, Jaylen Crocker-Johnson emerged as the leading scorer for the Rams, finishing with 21 points and contributing seven rebounds. Colorado State’s Nique Clifford also played a pivotal role, recording 13 points paired with seven rebounds and two blocks, while Kyle Jorgensen matched his scoring output with 13 points.
