Republican Representative Lisa McClain has secured her reelection to the U.S. House, representing Michigan.
Having been elected to Congress in 2021, McClain serves a district that stretches north from the suburbs of Detroit, including portions of both Oakland and Macomb counties.
In the recent election, she faced off against Democratic opponent Clint St. Mosley and emerged victorious.
Currently, McClain is a member of the Committee on Oversight and Accountability and has notably held her seat without prior political experience.
Throughout her tenure, she has consistently aligned herself with former President Donald Trump, showcasing her support during both of her terms in office.
The official announcement confirming McClain’s victory came shortly after 10:54 p.m. EST on election night.
