US approves massive $7.4 billion arms deal for Israel!

The US State Department has greenlit a colossal $7.4 billion weapons deal with Israel! Congress has been officially notified, igniting political tensions. President Donald Trump met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu just days before the announcement.

Bombs, missiles and more!

The deal includes two major packages. The first, worth $6.75 billion, features thousands of bombs, guidance kits, and essential equipment. This includes 166 small diameter bombs, 2,800 500-pound bombs, and thousands of fuzes and support tools. Deliveries start this year!

The second package? A whopping 3,000 Hellfire missiles and related tech. Price tag: $660 million! These deadly missiles will start arriving in 2028.

Strengthening Israel’s defenses

According to the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency, these weapons will bolster Israel’s defense. The bombs will help counter threats, deter regional enemies, and fortify homeland security. Meanwhile, the missiles will boost the Israeli Air Force’s ability to defend key infrastructure and population centers.

Biden’s Administration gave lawmakers a heads-up

Insiders revealed that Biden’s team gave Congress an informal heads-up in January. This follows a long-standing tradition, allowing key lawmakers to review and request more details before an official announcement.

Democrat furious over unanswered questions

Representative Gregory Meeks, a top Democrat on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, is outraged. He claims the Trump administration ignored his request to delay the deal until more details were provided. He slammed the move as a violation of tradition and transparency.

“This is not a monarchy!”

Meeks didn’t hold back! He accused the administration of disrespecting Congress, calling it a co-equal branch of government. “We don’t have kings! The US is a democracy, governed by laws, not royal decrees,” he declared.

The White House has not responded to the growing controversy. Political tensions are heating up as critics demand answers.

Deal follows tense ceasefire agreement

This massive arms sale comes at a critical moment. Israel and Hamas are holding onto a fragile hostage release and ceasefire deal. Meanwhile, Trump shocked the world by suggesting the US should take over Gaza!

With billions in firepower on the way, the region braces for what comes next. Will this deal bring security or spark new conflicts?
