Kid Rock and Jason Aldean set to take the stage for Trump’s Inauguration weekend celebration

A lineup of prominent artists, including Kid Rock and country star Jason Aldean, is set to perform at various events for the presidential inauguration weekend in Washington, D.C. The Trump Vance Inaugural Committee announced the bulk of these performers on Wednesday.

Kid Rock, who has been a steadfast supporter of Trump, along with Billy Ray Cyrus, will take the stage at the Make America Great Again Rally on Sunday. This event will also feature performances by Lee Greenwood and The Village People, along with a choir from Liberty University at the Capital One Arena located in downtown Washington.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Greenwood stated on Wednesday morning that he looks forward to the festivities. “The pageantry is wonderful. I’m excited about all of that,” he remarked. He also expressed his eagerness to perform again for the President of the United States, particularly for his friend Donald J. Trump.

Jason Aldean, recognized for his five Grammy nominations, including for his song “Try That in a Small Town,” is slated to perform at The Liberty Ball on Monday evening. He will share the stage with The Village People and a “surprise musical guest.”

The swearing-in ceremony set for Monday has announced performances by Carrie Underwood, who will sing “America the Beautiful,” as well as opera tenor Christopher Maccio, who is set to perform the National Anthem, along with Greenwood once again. Three inaugural balls will occur following the ceremony.

In a statement released on Monday, Underwood expressed her affection for the country and her honor at being asked to sing at the inauguration, emphasizing her desire to be part of this significant event.

The Commander-in-Chief Ball, dedicated to military service personnel, will see performances from the country group Rascal Flatts and Texas singer-songwriter Parker McCollum. Gary LeVox, the lead vocalist for Rascal Flatts, took to Instagram to express his gratitude for the opportunity, noting his joy and humility. LeVox also played at Trump’s first inauguration and assured that the upcoming event would be memorable, extending thanks to South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem in his post.

The Starlight Ball, aimed at high-dollar donors, will showcase Gavin DeGraw, recognized for his hit “I Don’t Want to Be,” which gained fame as the theme for the CW series “One Tree Hill.”

The inaugural events for Trump in 2017 featured notable performances from the Rockettes, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and Jackie Evancho, who was just 16 at the time and gained fame through “America’s Got Talent.”
