Blake Lively has returned to social media for the first time since her lawsuits against Justin Baldoni. On Wednesday, the actress took to Instagram sharing vital resources for the residents of Los Angeles, who are grappling with the wildfires devastating the city.

Lively’s posts come amid a chaotic scene, as the fires have been burning through the city since Tuesday. The National Guard has been called in to assist overwhelmed firefighters, while the sky over LA turns apocalyptic red, filling with thick smoke.

In her first Instagram Story, Lively shared links to shelters and animal boarding resources compiled by @mutualaidlaa. She wrote, “To everyone affected by the Los Angeles fires…” and included crucial information for those in need of assistance.

In a second story, the Gossip Girl alum added. “MALAN is regularly updating this Google sheet with mutual aid resources for folks in LA. There’s info on shelters, free PPE, food, animal rescues, and more.” She encouraged others to share any additional resources with @mutualaidlaa, showing her commitment to helping the community during this devastating time.

Wildfires rage as celebrities lose homes

The situation worsened on Wednesday night, January 8. Two new fires broke out in the Hollywood Hills and Studio City, forcing residents to evacuate their homes. These fires add to the already widespread destruction across LA, with vast areas of Malibu, Santa Monica, and Runyon Canyon now ablaze. Thousands of people, including many celebrities, are caught in the chaos.

At least five people have tragically lost their lives, and over 2,000 structures have been completely destroyed. The disaster has left countless residents with nothing but ash and rubble. Many are anxiously awaiting news of whether their homes will survive.

The wildfires are hitting Hollywood hard, with several celebrities losing their homes. Among them are Adam Brody, Leighton Meester, Anna Faris, John Goodman, Anthony Hopkins, and James Woods. Dozens of others, including Lively, are waiting to find out if their properties will survive the inferno.

Despite the ongoing drama, Lively’s social media posts demonstrate her deep concern for those affected by the wildfires. As her legal battle continues, she’s using her platform to direct attention to the crisis in LA.

A community in crisis

Lively’s decision to highlight mutual aid resources and shelters shows a compassionate side to the star, reminding her followers that, no matter the personal challenges she faces, the well-being of others comes first. The fires may be devastating, but the outpouring of support from people like Lively brings a glimmer of hope to the residents of Los Angeles.

With more fires continuing to burn, the situation remains dire. The city of Los Angeles is in crisis, but Lively’s call for action serves as a reminder that, even in the face of destruction, unity and support can help rebuild lives.

Lively’s message is simple – share resources, stay connected, and help one another. The fires may be raging, but together, the community can overcome this disaster.
