Bombshell in Liam Payne case: Police still investigating, has 5 suspects.

Liam Payne’s Friend Denies Involvement in Singer’s Tragic Death Following Balcony Fall in Argentina

A close friend of Liam Payne, the former One Direction star who tragically died in October after falling from a Buenos Aires balcony, has made a shocking statement regarding the circumstances surrounding his death.

Argentinian businessman Roger Nores, who was reportedly among the last to see Payne alive, has strongly denied any involvement in the singer’s fatal fall. This comes as authorities continue their investigation, which allegedly includes Nores as one of the suspects.

Final Hours Before the Tragedy

Nores, speaking to TMZ, described Payne as “playful, happy, and fine” during their interaction just an hour before the fatal incident.

“He was in good spirits, chatting with 10 or 15 Americans who were in town for a wedding,” Nores explained. “He was perfectly balanced, laughing, and enjoying himself. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. I said goodbye, thinking everything was fine.”

Nores added that he visited Payne’s hotel three times to check on him but noticed nothing alarming. While Payne appeared tipsy, it was, according to Nores, “nothing unusual.”

Ongoing Investigation

Five suspects connected to Payne’s death, including Nores, are currently under investigation. Judge Laura Bruniard, who is overseeing the case, is expected to decide early in the New Year whether they will face criminal charges or if the case will be closed.

Two employees of the Buenos Aires hotel where Payne fell joined three other men under formal investigation last week. The hotel staff members were reportedly questioned over Zoom in the presence of their defense lawyers.

The other suspects include alleged drug dealer Braian Nahuel Paiz and former hotel worker Ezequiel David Pereyra. Court hearings for these suspects have yet to be scheduled, but authorities are said to be examining confiscated phones and computers as part of their investigation.

Key Evidence Missing

A significant challenge in the investigation has been the lack of CCTV footage capturing Payne’s fatal fall. Judge Bruniard is awaiting reports from the analysis of approximately 22 devices seized during raids in the area.

Witness accounts suggest that Payne spent his final hours with two female escorts before his drink and drug-fueled plunge from the balcony. However, the exact sequence of events leading to his fall remains unclear.

A Devastated Community

Payne’s untimely death has left fans, friends, and family heartbroken. The singer had traveled to Argentina with his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, to watch his former bandmate Niall Horan perform in concert. Cassidy, reportedly feeling homesick, returned home days before Payne’s tragic accident.

The funeral was attended by Payne’s former One Direction bandmates—Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson—as well as his ex-partner Cheryl Cole, with whom he shares a seven-year-old son, Bear. Music mogul Simon Cowell, who discovered Payne on The X Factor, was also present.

A Legacy Cut Short

Liam Payne’s death has left a void in the music world and among the millions of fans who grew up idolizing the boyband sensation. While the investigation continues, those closest to him hope for clarity and justice.

Payne’s legacy as a talented performer and devoted father remains intact, even as the circumstances of his passing remain shrouded in mystery.
