NBA power rankings: Cavaliers hold top spot despite first loss

The Cleveland Cavaliers remain at the top of the NBA Power Rankings released by US LIVE, even after suffering their first loss of the season to the Boston Celtics. With a 15-1 record, the Cavaliers’ impressive start continues to earn them the league’s top spot.

The Boston Celtics are firmly positioned as strong contenders with a 12-3 record. They showcased their dominance by handing Cleveland their first defeat in a tightly contested game.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Lakers are surprising many with their resurgence under new head coach JJ Redick. Boasting an unbeaten 7-0 home record, the Lakers have been bolstered by the stellar performance of rookie standout Knecht, making them a team to watch.
