Beyoncé Channels Pamela Anderson in Halloween Tribute, Drops Teaser for ‘Cowboy Carter’ Album

0

Beyoncé surprised fans by releasing visuals set to “Bodyguard” from her latest album Cowboy Carter.

Though she hasn’t officially released music videos for this album or her Renaissance project, the video offers fans a playful nod to the missing visuals and features Beyoncé dressed as Pamela Anderson in her iconic Baywatch and Barb Wire looks.

In true Beyoncé style, the video—titled “Beywatch”—includes a clever twist, replacing the MTV Video Music Awards chyron with “No Visual Awards,” playfully acknowledging the absence of videos for her latest projects. Released on Election Day, the video also encouraged fans to vote, blending entertainment with a call to action.

Beyoncé’s Iconic Costumes and Political Message

Known for her impressive Halloween transformations, Beyoncé also dressed as singer Betty Davis and as Prince and Apollonia for a Purple Rain homage this season. Just days earlier, she appeared at a presidential campaign rally in Houston, endorsing Kamala Harris. Speaking alongside Destiny’s Child alum Kelly Rowland, Beyoncé urged the crowd to vote, saying, “I’m here as a mother who cares deeply about the world my children live in.”

Her message emphasized unity and personal freedoms, resonating with fans and voters alike. “We’re all part of something much bigger. We must vote, and we need you,” she said, rallying support for Harris.

Trump Responds to Beyoncé’s Rally Appearance

Republican nominee Donald Trump voiced his displeasure with Beyoncé’s involvement, taking a jab at Harris at his own rally. “Joe Biden is asleep, Kamala is at a dance party with Beyoncé,” he quipped, adding, “This person cannot be a president.”

The Harris campaign, which has been using Beyoncé’s song “Freedom” from Lemonade as their campaign anthem, faced backlash from Trump’s team earlier this year after they attempted to use the same track in one of their campaign videos. Beyoncé’s label quickly responded with a cease-and-desist.
