Donald Trump, joined by his wife Melania, voted in Palm Beach, Florida, on Election Day, expressing confidence in his chances despite a tight race with Kamala Harris. In a series of remarks, he addressed reports of long lines and ballot issues at polling stations, particularly in Pennsylvania, a crucial battleground state. Trump called the delays “an absolute outrage” and voiced his belief that he had a substantial lead among Republican voters.

Trump, who has previously raised concerns about the fairness of the election process, urged his supporters to stay patient and continue voting, insisting that if Republicans outvoted Democrats, he should be declared the winner. Despite this, he stated that he would accept the outcome of a fair election. He also commented on the strength of his campaign, calling it his best yet, and said he would not run for office again after this election.

Final rally and future outlook

Trump held his final rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan, late Monday night, criticizing Harris and the Democratic campaign. With the election focused on seven battleground states, Trump’s campaign is particularly eyeing the states that flipped to Biden in 2020. Despite his confidence, the election remains undecided as counting continues. Trump also discussed his legal situation, noting he could face sentencing in New York later this month.
