Vice President Kamala Harris holds a narrow single-digit lead over former President Donald Trump in two national polls released on Sunday, according to Forbes.

However, three other recent surveys reveal a deadlock, showing an unpredictable race with both candidates virtually tied just days before the election. The battle for the White House remains highly competitive, with near-tossups in all seven swing states.

Key Poll Findings

  • Morning Consult Poll: Harris leads by two points, 49%-47%, in a survey of likely voters, within a one-point margin of error. This represents a slight tightening from her previous three- and four-point leads in prior Morning Consult polls.
  • ABC/Ipsos Poll: Harris holds a similar three-point edge at 49%-46%, down slightly from her 51%-47% advantage last week and her 50%-48% lead in early October.
  • Deadlocked Polls: NBC News and Emerson College both show a 49%-49% tie between Harris and Trump. Similarly, a Yahoo News/YouGov survey has the candidates locked at 47%-47%.
  • HarrisX/Forbes Poll: Harris is up 49%-48%, though around 10% of likely voters and 16% of all registered voters indicate they could still change their choice.
  • Economist/YouGov Poll: Harris leads 49%-47% among likely voters, with 2% undecided and approximately 3% backing other candidates. This is a slight shift from her 49%-46% lead last week (margin of error 3.6%).
  • Cooperative Election Study: In a large-scale survey of 50,000 likely voters conducted by YouGov, Harris is up 51%-47%, with just 3% still undecided.

Several other recent polls mirror the close contest, with near-ties reported by The New York Times/Siena College, Emerson College, and CNN/SSRS. Harris holds a slight one-point edge in recent surveys by Reuters/Ipsos and CBS/YouGov. With polls tightening and voters still undecided, the race remains on a knife’s edge heading into Election Day.
