On October 31, Heidi Klum, 51, made jaws drop at her famous annual Halloween party, arriving in an unbelievable transformation as E.T. from the iconic 1982 film E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. Joining her in character was her husband, musician Tom Kaulitz, 35, completing the ultimate extraterrestrial couple look.
The pair channeled the beloved alien both before and after its arrival on Earth, with Kaulitz appearing in the classic “nude” E.T. look and Klum portraying the alien’s child-dressed form, complete with a sheer floral slip, platinum blonde wig, and a brown fur scarf to mimic the character’s elongated neck.
Heidi Reinvents Halloween Fashion with Unmatched Detail
Klum’s grand entrance at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York City solidified her reigning title as the Queen of Halloween, an accolade she’s held for 23 years. Known for her out-of-this-world costumes, Klum left fans amazed yet again with an intricate look that took over eight months to plan, involving hundreds of prosthetics and a painstaking six-hour transformation process on Halloween day.
The remote-controlled mechanics in their costumes added a layer of realism, allowing E.T.’s eyes and mouth to mimic Klum’s expressions as they recreated the movie’s iconic finger-touching gesture with their alien fingers intertwined.
A Star-Studded Night with Outlandish Outfits and Family Twists
Klum’s Halloween spectacular didn’t stop with her own look. Her daughter, Leni Klum, joined in on the family’s galactic theme, rocking a futuristic extraterrestrial costume in a metallic bodysuit and white pixie wig with antennas. Tokio Hotel frontman Bill Kaulitz, Tom’s brother, added to the scene with a dazzling galactic-inspired outfit.
The celebrity-filled evening included stars dressed to impress, like Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes as Grease’s Sandy and Danny.
