A newly resurfaced video from 2011 shows Taylor Swift, then 21, calling Sean “Diddy” Combs one of her “dream prom dates” during a playful celebrity quiz on the “Rachael Ray” show. The “Lover” singer held up photos of various celebrities, including Combs, Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, and Justin Timberlake, when asked who she’d want in her ideal prom group.
“Diddy’s always been very nice to me,” Swift explained at the time, adding he would be “fun” to include. Rachael Ray chimed in, calling him “a lovely gentleman.” The clip, recently shared in a now-deleted TikTok, sparked reactions from fans who noted the comments “didn’t age well.”
Combs, now 54, was arrested last month on charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and coercion. The music mogul, who pleaded not guilty, is awaiting trial in Brooklyn, where he maintains his innocence.
