The Pacific Palisades home where “Friends” star Matthew Perry passed away has been sold in a discreet off-market deal. Arizona-based real estate developer Anita Verma-Lallian purchased the four-bedroom, 4½-bathroom property, situated in the exclusive Southern California neighborhood with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean.

“Anita acquired this piece of real estate as it aligned with her investment strategy. This home is the latest addition to her portfolio of real estate assets,” Verma-Lallian’s representatives shared with FOX Business.

Perry’s Beloved Home and His Sudden Passing

Perry, who bought the home in 2020 for $6 million, had made it uniquely his own, including a pool adorned with a red, LED bat signal. His tragic passing in October 2023 was confirmed as a result of “acute effects of ketamine,” per the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner. The autopsy reported trace ketamine in Perry’s system, though the method of intake remains undetermined.

Legal Fallout from Perry’s Death

Recently, Dr. Mark Chavez, implicated in Perry’s ketamine use, pleaded guilty to charges related to ketamine distribution. Others charged in the case include Perry’s assistant and other alleged middlemen, with multiple plea deals already underway.

Despite his fame from “Friends,” Perry hoped to be remembered for his commitment to helping others with addiction. As he once stated, “The best thing about me, bar none, is if somebody comes up to me and says, ‘I can’t stop drinking, can you help me?’ I can say yes.”
