Angelina Jolie’s former nanny has come forward, urging the actress to end her ongoing battle with Brad Pitt. Krisann Morel, who cared for Jolie during her childhood and was a close friend of Jolie’s mother, Marcheline Bertrand, expressed deep concern over what she sees as Jolie repeating the mistakes of the past.

Morel, 63, fears that Jolie is demonizing Pitt and using their children as pawns in their divorce, much like Jolie’s own mother did during her separation from Jon Voight. Drawing parallels between Jolie’s current situation and her own troubled upbringing, Morel emphasized the lasting impact that such behavior can have on children.

“I want to send a message to Angelina, who I care about deeply,” Morel said in an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com. “Please don’t cut Brad out of the children’s lives. Don’t use them as weapons in your divorce. And don’t demonize your husband. This is exactly what your mother did when she was separating from your father, and it led to a lonely and traumatic childhood for you. Why inflict the same pain on your own kids?”

Morel, who was intimately familiar with the dynamics of the Jolie family, recalled how Bertrand struggled with the betrayal she felt from Voight, leading to a strained relationship with her daughter, Angelina. “Marcheline could barely stand to look at Angie when she was a baby because she resembled her father so much. The household was tense, and Angie was often left in the care of multiple nannies, which made for a very unsettled upbringing.”

Reflecting on Jolie’s current situation, Morel noted that Jolie’s children could face similar emotional challenges if the divorce continues in the same manner. She urged Jolie to learn from the past and focus on the well-being of her children, rather than perpetuating the cycle of bitterness and estrangement.

Morel’s plea comes as Jolie and Pitt’s high-profile divorce remains in the public eye, with Pitt facing accusations of substance abuse and allegations of mistreatment, while Jolie seeks sole custody of their six children. Morel’s insights offer a poignant reminder of the long-term consequences that such conflicts can have on a family, particularly the children caught in the middle
