Four individuals were discovered deceased in what authorities have indicated is potentially a case of murder-suicide in northeastern Oklahoma. The incident occurred in a residence in Broken Arrow, where officers were summoned after a 911 call was made just before 11 a.m. on Friday, with dispatchers reportedly hearing gunshots. The identities and ages of the deceased have not yet been disclosed, and attempts to reach police officials for additional details have been unsuccessful.
According to Broken Arrow Police Sgt. Jordan Sawyer, there appears to be no ongoing danger to the surrounding community. Ethan Hutchins, a police spokesperson, described the situation as another tragic event in the community but did not provide specifics regarding the relationship between the individuals involved.
This unsettling incident follows previous tragedies in the area, including a case in October 2022 where eight individuals, including six children and their parents, were fatally shot and their home was set ablaze in Broken Arrow. Additionally, in 2015, two teenage brothers named Robert and Michael Bever tragically killed their parents and three siblings by stabbing them inside their home located in the Tulsa suburb.
