ST. LOUIS — Milan Iloski continued his scoring streak with a goal for the second game in a row, while Anders Dreyer also found the back of the net, leading San Diego FC to a 2-1 victory over St. Louis City on Saturday night.

Goalkeeper CJ dos Santos contributed significantly to San Diego’s win with four crucial saves. Iloski, who came on as a substitute for Onni Valakari in the 69th minute, broke the deadlock in the 79th minute. He fired a powerful shot from just outside the box, sending the ball past the St. Louis goalkeeper and into the net on the left side.

San Diego now holds a record of 6-4-2, securing back-to-back victories following an impressive 5-0 triumph over Dallas, a match that marked the end of a three-game losing streak in which they conceded three goals in each match.

On the other side, St. Louis City, at 2-6-4, is struggling, enduring an eight-game winless run, including six losses and four games without scoring.

Dreyer widened the lead in the 87th minute, finishing off a St. Louis defensive error and slipping the ball past goalkeeper Ben Lundt, pushing the score to 2-0.

In a late response, Kyle Hiebert managed to score for St. Louis City in the first minute of stoppage time, but it was not enough to alter the outcome of the match.
